Soft foods include foods such as:

  • Stewed meats/fish or casseroles

 

  • Ground meats

 

  • Fish fillets or canned fish

 

  • Soft cheeses such as cottage and ricotta cheese

 

  • Yogurts

 

  • Scrambled

 

  • Tofu

 

  • Nut butters

 

  • Hummus or bean dips

 

  • Hot cereals such as oatmeal or cream of wheat, cold cereals soaked in milk

 

  • Buttered noodles

 

  • Pierogi

 

  • Pancakes or French toast

 

  • Well-cooked soft vegetables

 

  • Soft fruits such as banana, avocado, melon, soft pear, grated peeled apple

 

  • Apple sauce or canned fruits

 

  • Desserts such as puddings, custards, ice cream and frozen yogurt
